This movie is  representative of our trip to Halong Bay - “Bay of the Descending Dragon”.  We travelled three and a half hours on rough roads to the coastline where we boarded a beautiful Junk for a two day cruise of this amazing coastline.

We were charmed by the lifestyle of the local fishing families, and spent some time hiking up and down the limestone karst mountains, kayaking all around the caves and beaches, explored deep into an amazing cave, and met lovely people from around the globe.  This movie has many of our new friends speaking in their native tongue (French, South Korean, British, and Vietnamese).  The sleeping was lovely out here in this quiet bay surrounded by the mystical history that is Vietnam.
