We have travelled half of Vietnam by the time we reached Danang.  The village of Hue was a pleasant treat of great handicrafts and less people.  Traveling here is difficult, but the countryside is lovely.  Hoi An is quaint, quiet, and easily navigated on our bicycle.  The beaches from My Khe through China Beach and into Hoi An stretch for over 20 miles and are magnificent. We did rent a surfboard and give it a try - but the we couldn’t decide which was junkier - the waves or the board !! Anyway - we enjoyed the scene and met some girl surfers and had a good romp in the breakers for our pal Ralph.
